Meet the Team
Steven Harvey
At the helm of First Class Fitness is Steven Harvey, a master personal trainer with a wealth of experience spanning over 12,000 hours of dedicated 1-on-1 client training. His journey in fitness is marked by extraordinary accomplishments as a rugby player and sportsman, including 6 All-Ireland Medals and representing his province and country with distinction.
Stevens's transition from a high-performance athlete to a mentor and coach was fuelled by his passion for making a tangible difference in people's lives. His philosophy centres around empowering individuals to move, feel, and perform at their best, underpinned by his extensive knowledge in Strength and Conditioning. A firm believer in nurturing talent from a young age, Steven also dedicates his expertise in coaching young children, enhancing their physical literacy and motor skills.
Alan Fanning
Born in Dublin, Alan has always been drawn to traveling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. He has worked as a personal trainer in cities in New Zealand, Australia, around the U.K, in Singapore, and mostly recently, in Tokyo, Japan. He spent two years working with Tennis Ireland helping the national team improve their physical performance.
To Alan, being fit and healthy means finding a form of exercise that you enjoy, and staying consistent with it. The exercise and foods that you eat should add to and enrich your life, not the other way around. Alan’s strength as a trainer is in his ability to understand his clients and gain their trust. Alan loves being a part of his clients’ progress, not only the physical changes as they lose weight and build muscle, but loves seeing people become a lot more confident in themselves.
